Thatcham research provides anti-theft security ratings to different cars. The system was launched in 2019 to assess the security, keyless entry, and keyless start systems of new cars. The Audi A3 has not been tested from Thatcham yet.
Does the new Audi a3 come with a push start feature?
The Audi A3 and Q3 models come with a dead key fob. They are equipped with push start systems.
How an Audi A3 start?
An Audi A3 has an automatic starting function. In automatic variants, the car starts when we push the key to position 2 while in the manual variants, you need to press the clutch pedal completely and put the gear knob in neutral, the car will start itself.
Does an Audi have an auto-lock system?
The latest models of Audi have an auto door lock system. When you reach above 9 mph the car locks automatically. It can also be locked manually like other cars and you can also unlock it from inside, the latest key features don't change this function.b
