Audi denotes the performance levels of its cars with the letters A, S, and RS, with the latter pair signifying the hottest models. Which makes the 2021 S5 coupe and cabriolet the second most powerful member of the Audis that have the number "5" on their decklid. While the four-door S5 Sportback is reviewed separately, it shares the same 349-hp V-6 powertrain and standard Quattro all-wheel drive as its two-door siblings.
Powerful, functional, comfortable and techy -- it's hard to make an argument against Audi's do-it-all S5 Sportback.
The S5 Sportback, Coupe and Cabriolet get S5-specific new lighting and facias, but no sheetmetal changes. As before, the Coupe and Cabriolet ride on a 60mm shorter wheelbase than the Sportback, sedan and Avant.
The new Audi S5 Coupe. Come on now, get excited. It's got a turbocharged V6, all-wheel drive, eight gears and 349bhp. It'll do 0-62mph in 4.7 seconds. That's about what a Ferrari F355 takes to do the same dash, if you're fond of duffing up old supercars.
